Questions
Which budget does this come out of?
Your General Fund, as district administrative software. We don't position clearAMS as a Prop 28 expenditure, and we don't ask you to charge it to your Arts & Music in Schools allocation. Every dollar of the allocation stays available for arts instruction, which is the point.
How is the price calculated?
$750 per school, per year, for each school receiving an allocation. Straight multiplication: 6 schools is $4,500, 10 is $7,500, 20 is $15,000. There are no tiers or buckets — a six-school district pays for six schools, not for a bracket it happened to land in. No district pays less than $2,500 or more than $30,000 in a year. Why is there a minimum?
A single-school charter still needs the same baseline calculations, evidence packets and support as a larger district. The $2,500 floor covers that. Because $750 × 4 is already above it, the floor only ever applies to districts with three or fewer schools — at 4 schools you pay $3,000 and from there it's pure multiplication.
Why is there a cap?
Because per-school pricing stops being fair to a large district long before it stops being profitable for us. The $30,000 cap means the biggest districts in the state — the ones with the most audit exposure — aren't priced out of defending themselves.
What if we open or close a school mid-term?
Your figure is fixed for the term. Adding sites during the year doesn't trigger a mid-year increase; we count again at renewal.
What does a county office agreement look like?
A COE can contract on behalf of its districts, or a group of districts can buy together. Each district still gets its own separate space and its own data. Terms come in below the sum of the individual district caps, and procurement, security review and invoicing happen once. Contact sales and we'll scope it.
Who counts as a California LEA?
School districts, county offices of education and charter schools that receive an Arts & Music in Schools allocation. If you're not sure, ask us.
What happens to our plans if a contract ends?
Nothing is deleted. The district drops to the free tier: the compliance tooling is withheld, but data isn't. Your plans, multi-year dashboards, approval records and previously generated evidence packets stay readable and keep their status.
Does a late payment cut us off mid-review?
No. A past-due account keeps its capabilities while it's sorted out. We won't interrupt a district in the middle of its review or certification cycle over billing.
